Minimum Required Training and Certifications for Employment
- Self motivated
- Ability to work and make quick decisions under pressure
- Strong physical fitness
- The ability to leave within a 2 hour window
- Be 18 years of age or older
- A valid driver’s license in your state of residence
- Current CPR card
- National Registry Certification is recommended
- High angle/low angle rope rescue certification
- Prior 911 experience
- Prior wildland fire experience
- Basic firefighter training
- Previous experience with Fireline Medics or similar REMS team is preferred
