  •  State Certified EMS License (In good standing)
  •  National Registry Certification (Highly Recommended)
  • Minimum 2 years field experience
  • State certifications required upon deployment: Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Wyoming, Alaska, and Colorado.
  • Skills review in person or signed verification by current Medical Director or their appointed Training Officer for all AEMT and Medics. 
  • CPR, ACLS, PALS, or Handtevy, PHTLS or ITLS
  • Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)

  •  I-100, Introduction to ICS
  •  IS-700, NIMS: An Introduction

  •  Initial Courses
  •  S-190, Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior, 2020 (Self-Directed Online)
  •  Pre-requisite for S-130
  •  L-180, Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service, 2008 (Self-Directed Online)
  •  Pre-requisite for S-130
